The different character classes on Dragonium

Français English

On Dragonium, you can choose among 5 different character classes. Each has its advantages and disadvantages. To broaden your playing horizons, you can create multiple characters. Please note, we remind you that interactions between different characters on the same IP address are strictly prohibited.
Here is a brief overview of the classes.

The Magus

The Magus is an offensive or defensive character, using the power of the spirit and the elements to attack from a distance. Thanks to his attack spells, he takes less damage than a melee fighter but he cannot heal.
At creation and for each level, 4 points are placed automatically: 1 point in wisdom and 3 points in intelligence. The 6 remaining points are to be placed freely.
Benefit: Takes less damage from monsters with ranged spells.
Downside: Consumes a lot of mana.

The Healer

The healer is a mage specialized in healing. The healing spell that he can use is not accessible to other classes. On the other hand, his attack spell is less powerful against his fellows (against monsters, there is no difference with a mage).
At creation and for each level, 4 points are placed automatically: 3 points in wisdom and 1 point in intelligence. The 6 remaining points are to be placed freely.
Benefit: Progress quickly by accompanying another player to heal him during his hunt. It is the only one able to cure.
Downside: Consumes a lot of mana. Penalties in combat against other characters.

The Warrior

The warrior relies primarily on his physical strength to impress his opponents. He is formidable in melee and can trigger a fit of rage (berserker) to amplify the power of his blows.
At creation and for each level, 4 points are placed automatically: 3 points in strength and 1 point in dexterity. The 6 remaining points are to be placed freely.
Benefit: Can deliver fatal blows with the berserker.
Downside: Takes more damage from monsters.

The Rogue

The rogue, also called simply "hunter" or "bounty hunter", is a prowler and an assassin ready to kill anyone on whom a bounty was deposited. Agile and discreet, he can visit inns to slaughter targets while they sleep and can attack two more hits than other classes. It has a bonus when stealing.
At creation and for each level, 4 points are placed automatically: 3 points in dexterity and 1 point in strength. The 6 remaining points are to be placed freely.
Benefit: Can pick up bounties and kill in inns.
Downside: Takes more damage from monsters.

The Paladin

The paladin is a fighter combining physical strength and magic. It can hit its targets melee and from a distance. He can thus better respond to any type of attack. He can also heal himself with a basic healing spell. On the other hand, he is slower to progress because even if he has more points, he will always be inferior to a mage or a warrior because he must keep a certain balance between his characteristics.
At creation and for each level, 9 points are placed automatically: 1 point in constitution, 2 points in strength, 2 points in dexterity, 2 points in intelligence and 2 points in wisdom. The 6 remaining points are to be placed freely.
Benefit: Resists magic and physical attacks better thanks to its points in each characteristic, it is versatile.
Downside: A little weaker than a pure mage or a pure warrior.
